Well no pictures this post (broken camera battery with a new one on the way)but thought I would share a few updates about the little man...
-His first word is HOT. Not really used correctly, but very cute nonetheless!
- He is finally becoming a bit more picky with the eating and only wanting hummus, cheese, avocado, and fruit!!!! I even tried dipping some meat in the hummus but he liked it off and gave the meat back to me....
- He still hates the grass.....we only wonder what he will do in the sand this summer!!!
- He is walking all around!
- His favorite book by far is Hippos Go Beserk (he loves to bring books over and sit on your lap)
- He loves to make himself giggle and is tries to make himself sneeze (and fart) again but those don't work as well. He is all BOY!
- He gives hugs with his kisses now...so sweet
- He got his first pair of "real" shoes (i.e. not Robeez). Not so much a fan yet but we will keep trying!!!!
- Oh, and just before our first open house, he broke a glass panel in the door to the sunporch with his drum stick!!! Luckily he didn't hurt his hand!!!!
- Better end this before he turns off the computer or unplugs it as he did yesterday when I was typing!!!!

We just got back from a fabulous weekend at The Koons' lake house. What a beautiful part of Missouri.....we even saw an eagle's nest with a baby eagle inside!!!
We made homemade spaghetti sauce complete with homemade ravioli and noodles...yum!!

A whole entire Ritz cracker with hummus in the mouth. The new trick is to lick the hummus off and give the soggy cracker back to us for more.....yum!
Spring is finally here in Kansas City so we have been spending some time outside and at the park down the street. Hudson has learned to climb up the play equipment and go down the slide by himself! He is so happy till his hands touch the mulch at the end! But, the other big news is that is he actually walking in the grass barefoot! Well, sometimes. Other times he still makes his grass hating face. But we are getting there. And he played in the sandbox this weekend at our friend's BBQ and had a blast - he even enjoyed eating it - yuck! The house is still for sale as you can see, but we have had lots of lookers.
