Loose Park

We had two really nice days this week and took advantage by going to the park both days. Here are a few pictures of "Nana's park" because now it is by Nana's house! Hudson doesn't remember that was the park we used to walk to when we lived in Brookside until he was about 18 months old.

I was not expecting Jack to be such a wild man at the park. The kid just follows Hudson around and goes down any slide he sees. That boy has no fear! He took a few tumbles off the end of the slides and just gets up and laughs. We are in real trouble!

 Hudson helping Jack up.

Funny that I just made a comment that Jack was slimming down because he was fitting into zipper/button pants. Look at that tummy!

from -13 to 70s all in one week

Can you tell these guys were a little anxious to get back outside? We all were and thankfully the snow is melting and it is warmer for the moment here in Kansas.

Valentine's Day

We had a fun Valentine's Day weekend around here and the kids got spoiled....again. Nana came for dinner on Sunday night and John and I had a great filet and potatoes (thanks to Pioneer Woman's recipes) and Nana and Jack had salmon topped with beans, olives and tomatoes. Hudson had leftover pepperoni pizza. We were all happy;).

Of course she brought goodies for everyone too. Hudson got a Cars box with a lock and some Look and Find books which he loves.

We all got some yummy desserts too with cute sugar cookies for the kids and Cheesecake Factory desserts for us.

He didn't like the cookie one bit. Second borns get exposed to sugar quite a bit sooner than the first. He is currently being weaned from nursing by using animal crackers. Hey, it is whatever works.

Hudson also got a trash truck toy from Toy Story he has been wanting and Jack got a singing Mickey Mouse card. It counts as a gift because it was $8. Not kidding.

Then they got a special package from Aunt Sam today in the mail with even more goodies. Hudson got a new Woody t-shirt and some fruit snacks which by the time I saw them were just wrappers. Jack got some stickers.

It has been a fun day full of spoiling and lots and lots of sugar.

Snacktime

Don't worry. The floors were actually clean until the box of crackers and a box of noodles was dumped onto the floor. The boys love to help mop the floor. I only hope continue to like mopping when they are teenagers.

Such a clean eater!

His favorite book. It is even good upside down.

Superbowl Party

We hosted a small superbowl gathering to watch the commercials and halftime show game. The kids had a great time playing together but I think the highlight for everyone might have been the dance party they had during the halftime show with Black Eyed Peas.
