Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's Day and were all happy that Nana came over for a visit. Hudson was sooo excited to see Nana he looked for every red car on the way home from dinner to see if he could find hers. They had lots of fun making "H" pancakes, playing trains and playing with Nana's dogs.
This is exactly what it looks like. Hudson has turned into a dog last week and walks around barking, drank out of Tanner's water bowl, and even licked dirty dishes out of the dishwasher as Tanner does. Gross. At least he is still at the honest age, where he tells me, but this was one of those I would have preferred not to know.

Hudson is sharing his beloved Toy Story play figures with Jack. He must like him as those are his most prized posessions.

Jack just loves Hudson and giggles and grins each time he sees him.

And here is Jack. 14 weeks old. Fat man. Is is really possible to have so many wrinkles on one arm?

He loves to eat his hands....and everything else in sight.

I was not excited to see this move during tummy time as he tried to push himself on the carpet. I love the non-moving baby stage. I am just hoping that his weight keeps him from being mobile for a little while longer.

Celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Nack!

This past weekend, despite the crazy weather predictions, Jack and I boarded his first plane ride and headed to Knoxville, TN to celebrate the wedding of a childhood friend, Leslie to Mr. Andy Nack. Jack was a great traveler and slept most of the flight and most of the trip as you will see! Aunt Sam came over to help with Hudson while Daddy worked, then John and Hudson spent the rest of the weekend together. Jack's first hotel room stay
He has learned to escape tummy time by rolling from belly to back. He has also rolled a few times from back to belly and suprises himself when he makes it all of the way!

We had a great time bowling at the rehearsal dinner at the Union at the University of Tenn. I think it was probably a good thing that Hudson did not come on the trip as he would have wanted to buy an orange UT shirt everywhere! Jack slept through it.....

Nana met us down in TN to help and Jack ate up all of the attention from her.

Nana and Jack dancing at the wedding

Great friends from high school - Leslie (the bride), Jenny, Jenny (Memmott) and myself

Sleeping in the hotel room. I think Jack is making up for the sleep Hudson did not get as an infant!

All of the dancing wore him out and despite the loud music, he slept through the wedding and much of the reception.

Happy guy all dressed up (thank you Nana for my outfit!)

Happy little guy on the plane.

This is mostly what I saw of Jack during our weeeknd visit for Leslie's wedding. The other times he was all smiles and giggles!

almost three months old!

It is hard to believe baby Jack is turning three months old at the end of the week! Time is going by so fast. Here are a few photos before the weekend as Jack will be taking his first plane ride on a trip with me to Tennessee. A good friend of mine from high school, Leslie, is getting hitched to Andy. Jack is very excited to see his Nana and adopted aunts there.
Apparently drooling runs in the family as Hudson was a huge drooler and Jack has now started

. Jack is holding that head up well and enjoying tummy time.

He is becoming very chatty lately too.

Rolls, rolls and more rolls. I don't even know what to do with all of them. They are showing up in places I didn't even know could get a roll. I do know that they do collect things if they don't get cleaned well and that we must tilt is head very far back in the tub to even reach one of the many necks that he has. His rolls are very ticklish though and give us some fun giggles.

The boys dressed in their KU attire for the KU/K State game this last weekend. Jack loves his big brother and smiles each time he sees him. Hudson loves his "lil' buddy" as he calls him just as much.

Jack just loves bath time and lays back and kicks and splashes and loves every minute of it.
