New York, New York

I am finally getting around to another post. Time has been flying. Hudson is now 17 months old! He has learned all sorts of new tricks lately, some from his Nana who stayed with him last weekend while John and I spent a weekend alone in New York. I think we all had a great time! Here are some updates on Hudson. He is quite a climber these days. I found him in the kitchen the other day. He found a snack cup, got on the chair and filled his cup with cheese-its....yes, he takes after his father. His is obsessed with shoes (everyone's) and keys. He loves to try to put keys in the door, grab a bag and wave goodbye to us and close himself between the real door and the glass door. Keys are a great toy till they take a swim in the dog bowl or toilet (two other obsessions). Nana taught him to "scare" her by raising his hands above his head and making a loud "roar". He gets a kick out of it. He also loves to chase Tanner with his corn popper and cracks up when she runs away after getting run over....poor thing. He loves to sit on Pilgrim and watch Elmo but Pilgrim has learned to escape quickly.

New York was a blast. We did lots of sightseeing, saw a Broadway show, ate some great food, and made it to Yankee's stadium before it gets torn down this year....we were lucky enough to be at the 13 inning game against the Royals.

Here is an old video of some dancing....sorry it is sideways:)

my first fingerpainting session

Things went pretty well until we were so tempted to taste it....if only fingerpaint was blueberry and strawberry flavored!!!

feeding my friends...

My new favorite spot to read my books
Blowing on Clayton's belly!
I got to spend an afternoon at Nicole's house this week and see Addie and also meet my friend Tessa! Tessa's mom and my mom were roommates in college.
We became the best of friends quickly over a bowl of goldfish.
I gave Clayton a big kiss while he sat in my book basket!
