Another time, mommy!!!!
Jack turned 11 weeks old this week and continues to be a happy, laid back little guy. He is only getting up at 3am to eat these days so we are all feeling more rested. He smiles, giggles and kicks in excitement. It is fun seeing his little personality come out.

This week Hudson's favorite phrase has been "another time, mommy!" so that is what I have heard a gazillion times this week. He is certainly turning three soon! He continues to crack us up and give us a story to tell each day. After making brownies, which really turned into eating brownie mix, his hands were covered in mix, so I asked him to go wash he hands. Well he goes over and tells Tanner to lick it, which she does, then tells me that they are all clean. Well I guess they were more clean than they were?? He is doing great though and learning numbers and letters well. He can find an "H" anywhere and loves to point them out. He can spell his name and we are working on writing it. He also is now a pro at the laptop which I am not sure if I should be so proud of! When I get busy with Jack, Hudson loves to watch small clips on youtube or play with the disneywebsite. He is quite the little web surfer and so far hasn't bought anything.....yet!

Jack is 10 weeks old!
We have been hanging pretty low this week at home as Jack came down with a bad cough and some congestion. We took him to the doctor on Tuesday and they diagnosed him with Bronchiolitis and he also tested positive for the nasty RSV. We feel pretty lucky though that Jack didn't get a fever with it and has been breathing ok so we avoided a hospital stay. We are also thankful that Hudson didn't catch it. He is still coughing but we are hoping we are on the upswing!
Jack still likes tummy time and is doing a bit better at holding his head up. He also likes his Bumbo seat so he can see what is going on around him!

Hudson loves to care for his baby doll who also has the name Jack. Things go great till he uses his stroller as an item to chase the dog with.

2 months old and snowed in!
It has been a cold and snowy week here in Kansas City this week. You won't find many pictures of Hudson playing in the snow though because he hates it just as his mom does. Hudson went out with John to help shovel one night but other than that, doesn't want anything to do with it. He "watches" us play in it from the window and pulls his pant legs up when he walks in it to make sure he doesn't get snow on his jeans. He is a funny little guy. We bought him a new Buzz and Woody cup that we thought he would be thrilled with. Well he does love to play with it but refuses to put any liquid in it so it doesn't get dirty!
Trying to stay warm in the bunting Nana made. The high is only zero today - brrr......

Sleepy baby after his shots
Jack had his two month check up this week and was a whopping 14 lbs and 8 oz (97th percentile) and was 23 3/4 inches long (80th percentile). Holy cow he weighs more than a pound more than his brother did at this age! He still is one big and happy little guy though so we won't complain. He hardly fusses, smiles and coos often and has let out a couple big giggles too.
We did get a special visit from Aunt Sam after New Years and Hudson has not stopped talking about her since she left to go back to Mizzou. "Where Aunt Sam are?" , "Aunt Sam come tomorrow?", "Hudson play trains with Aunt Sam.....okaaaaay?"
We took Aunt Sam to Fritz's restaurant to see the train. He was most excited about the "diet coke" train and proceeded to ask the waitress for one as if he thought we might actually let him order one!

Christmas 2009
Here are some pictures from our week in St Louis for Christmas. We had a great time getting to see the whole family including the combined seven family dogs!). Hudson had so much fun this year and among his favorite gifts were his "orange" crocs and gloves, many Woody and Buzz toys, remote control bus, gum ball machine, his tee-pee tent, a Cars tent, and his new power tools. He also had a great time doing art with Sam, cutting up letters from magazines and played piano and went bowling and to the arcade with Pa.
Jack also got very spoiled with a handmade new quilt and taggie blanket from Nana and some cute new clothes.
