Nana is here:)

Nana is staying with us and we are all so happy! Hudson has fired us as his parents and now pretty much only lets "Nana do it" for him. He runs straight to her room in the morning. We have been so spoiled with all of the help with the boys and the house. Hudson has been so spoiled by Nana with his name spelled out in pancakes, fun trips to the library, playing ball outside and many stories and puzzles. Then today he told me that when Nana moves to her house in a few weeks, he is moving his bed there. Did our three year old just plan to run away?

A visit from PA!!!

And we finally got our toes in our mouth! Yum!

We are pet sitting Rogan while Nana is in the process of moving over. He is a "gentle giant" and sweet as they come but is he a giant or what! Tanner is so happy to have a play mate that doesn't hide her ball or pull her tail.

Jack is getting so close to scooting. If we put him on his back he immediately rolls over and tries to push off with his feet. I am so not ready for this!

Jack just fell asleep outside in his chair. Must be the life, huh? Notice who is trying to wake him up though....

We loved having Pa come and Hudson still asks when he is coming home from "work".

This weekend though we have a very special Nana coming! We are so excited to host her for two weeks till she closes on her house. We only hope she is as excited to live in his busy house!

Here are a few pics from the week. This is Jack's preferred position now. He is no longer satisfied with rolling to get to Hudson's toys and Tanner's dog bones. So now he plants his head to the floor and attempts to push off. It won't be much longer I am afraid till he is crawling which means lots of babyproofing again!

Sporting Uncle Evan's and Pa's favorite baseball team hats. We are looking forward to Pa's visit this weekend! Hudson has all of his Buzz and Woody and Mickey toys ready to show him!

First trip to Deanna Rose

Our first trip to one of our favorite places to go in Kansas City - Deanna Rose! It opened for the season and has some great additions this year!

5 months old!

Jack turned five months old this week! It is so hard to believe. He is more and more fun each day though as he shows his personality. He is quite a mommy's boy and likes to be close. He loves to watch his big brother and busts out with a grin or a big giggle each time he sees him. Hudson loves this and is very sweet with him. He is rolling pretty well and trying to inch forward to toys ahead of him on the floor. Here we go! Speaking of rolls, these are not lacking as you can see!
Yeah, I know. Someone still has a pacifier to sleep with. He heard me taking pictures of Jack in his room and came in after his nap.

Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter weekend here in KC and enjoyed some beautiful weather! The Easter bunny brought Jack some rice cereal. He took a few bites but wasn't all that interested so we will try again later. So far, he is not taking after his brother's eating habits who I think was eating steak at this age:). Although we aren't too worried he isn't getting enough milk. We now have to exit the Bumbo seat one leg at a time....
The Easter bunny also brought some new mesh bags around here. The grapes were a big hit!

Hudson had fun dying some eggs. You can see he still has the favorite color "orange".
The eggs quickly became Toy Story action figures and began flying to "infiniti and beyond"!

21 weeks old!

We have a new grocery shopper around here. After a few trips to this local grocery store, Hudson outsmarted me and spotted the little people carts that I have been trying to hide from him in fear he would take out another shopper with it. Besides the extra grocery items we ended up that day, he actually did pretty good and was very proud to have his own cart. He even demanded his own bags and carried them out to the car. What a helper....
The exersaucer has reappeared. It is officially looking like a Babies R Us again in our house. But that is ok. He loves it and it keeps him from learning to crawl which is my goal for a while longer.



Thank you Max for letting me borrow some of your clothes! I am so much bigger than my brother was that I have outgrown his clothes!
