Hudson's school Thanksgiving party

On the day before Thanksgiving, Hudson's Pre-K class invited families in to watch the kids sing a few fall songs and to eat some mini pies made by the kids. They were pretty darn cute. Here is a short clip from one of the songs. You can hear Hudson telling Jack in the middle of the performance that they are singing Shoo Fly, one of Jack's favorite songs.

Jack enjoyed getting to play with the toys in the classroom

They even made room for the siblings to eat with them. Hudson took such good care of him the whole time and even got him a baby wipe to help clean his face. Hudson was so excited for Jack to be in his class and Jack was so excited to get to participate. He always wants to stay and play when I drop Hudson off.

Jack turns TWO!

Jack at his two year old checkup. Jack was a total ham with Dr Water's and told him all about his Mickey party. He did so great with his shots, not even reacting besides giving the nurse a bit of a dirty look. He did great until he had to get clothes on then he reminded us he was 2!

Jack weighed 28 lbs, 2 oz and was 34 in tall which put him in the 50th percentile for both. This is quite a drop from that chubby baby last year!
Jack also had his first trip to the Emergency Room this month. The morning after John and I returned from a getaway to New York, I was getting dressed in my closet. When I came out, I found him with a bottle of Tylenol he had opened and with three half capsules in his mouth and white running out of his mouth. This seriously happened in two minutes. I didn't think he had consumed the maximum of 4 but since I couldn't be sure, we had a little visit to the ER. He did great with his labs there and loved playing trains so after his labs came back ok we got the all clear.

The doctor asked him what happened and he told him "eat daddy's medicine". The doctor told him not to eat any more and he replied, "OH, FINE!". He is TROUBLE but we were thankful he was ok.

Jack's Mickey party

Here are some pics from Jack's 2nd birthday party a few weeks ago. We are a bit behind between our computer crashing, a trip to NY and then Thanksgiving but catching up!
Jack ate three sandwiches before the party even started

Nana was a HUGE help with this party between house decorations, making Mickey ears and decorating the cake and cupcakes. We are so thankful for her help!

Trick or Treat!

Finn McMissile and Mickey Mouse

The finished pumpkin

I think he thought he would get more candy if he carried two pails

After a few houses, Jack had it figured out. They were so cute together as Hudson waited for him at each house. Jack would scream out "candy" or "sucker" each time he got a piece and on his way out would yell, "tank you" and "fun" because everyone told him to "have fun". They had a blast together.

Nana took the boys out for a bit then came back to help hand out candy while John and I took them around .

"punkins"

Hugs for Tanner. This boy loves to love on dogs.

Ha! Typical...leave me alone.

PreK Halloween party

Here are some pictures from Hudson's Halloween party at school this week. We put together some fun treats for the kiddos (on the left) and a "witch's broom" bag with candy corn almond bark on the right. Thank you pinterest.com for the ideas:).

This is Hudson's pal, Stephanie, dressed as Mickey. Those two were side by side whenever they could be!

They paraded around the entire school for the big kids to see the costumes, then came back for snack and a game of candy corn bingo. After the game, Hudson at the all 12 candy corns in one bite. It was impressive and just the beginning of the insane amount of sugar he consumed that day!
