We have been busy, busy lately so we are a bit behind on the posts. Last weekend, Hudson spent the weekend with Daddy while Mom went to St Louis for Lyndi's (Evan's fiance) bridal showers and bachelorette party. Things went really well at home, despite a little fever Hudson had. Dad even managed to clean up the house which was a nice surprise! Then Nana and Aunt Dana came back for a visit. Hudson was very excited to see us although Nana was certainly the favorite around here. Hudson would reach for her no matter who was holding him (me, John or Dana!). He learned some new tricks while she was here. He would try and push her to the ground for just one more airplane ride. He loved to bring her shoes over and try and put them on so she could take him outside. He would nod his head up and down to hear her sing the "duck" song one more time.
Another thing he has been doing is lifting up people's shirts to blow on their belly's (so far, no strangers:). He also loves to try and carry dad's briefcase and try to go out the front door, waving bye-bye. His favorite toys today (this changes often) are his baby doll and cars. He loves to say "vrroommm" when he pushes them along. He has always LOVED babies and still greets his friends with a kiss and a hug. He still really likes music and gets so excited to dance.
We have been having lots of fun this summer and enjoy all the toddler activities. We spend lots of time at the local parks, pools and splashgrounds, and love the local children's museum, Wonderscope, which is in the pictures below. We also have a great children's bookstore up the street with a nice play area and get to see some storytime's and concerts there too! Here are some pictures.....
