A visit to Santa

While talking about going to visit Santa, Hudson asked if he could bring the iPad to show Santa the exact toy he wanted. Hudson has been making Christmas lists off the computer/iPad for months now and has multiple lists around the house. Gee, I have no idea where he gets that from :). He wanted to make sure Santa knows he wants the Cars 2 ship from the Disney store, not Target. Fortunately, we were able to talk him out of bringing it with us. As soon as Jack saw Santa, he looked at him in awe, and I asked if he wanted to sit on his lap. He literally leaped up toward him and just sat. This confirms that he really does have no fear! Hudson was a bit more cautious but followed his little brother's lead and finally got a bit more comfortable. Jack told Santa he wanted a "giraffe" and Hudson told him he wanted a "boat". The day after we visited, Hudson came in our room early in the morning and woke me by telling him I needed to send Santa a message on the computer to make sure he knows what boat he wants.

A visit to Crown Center

We took the boys down to Crown Center and Union Station last weekend to see the gingerbread houses and train displays. They had a blast! They had so much fun together and kept calling each other over to see little details inside the displays. They loved it.

Fall family photo session 2011

With lots of bribery for the boys, we had a great photo session with Nicki Griffith Photography. They were actually pretty cooperative although jelly beans for Jack and new Cars for Hudson sure did help!

Thanksgiving with the Walter's

We had a houseful of Walter's here to celebrate Thanksgiving and it was so much fun. We did lots of eating and shopping and the cousins played and played from morning till night.

Uncle Freddie even showed up in his 44 foot RV. I think our neighbors loved it.  Hudson and Brandon clearly wanted their picture taken.
