Jack's new tricks

Don't let this picture fool you. Although Jack is sitting in a high chair with a bib on, he still prefers sucking on a wet washcloth or chewing on Hudson's shoes and dog bones but we still keep attempting! His record so far is about an ounce of carrots which seem to be his favorite food. He did eat part of a Mum-Mum (rice cracker for babies) with only gagging two times so we are heading the right direction. We are happy his clothes are staying fairly clean though!

We attempted to give him his first dose of Tylenol the other night for his upper teeth coming in and you would have thought we were giving him lemon juice. This is a little different from his brother who would get so excited to see anything come near his mouth and I think was eating Chipotle at his age!

Despite the lack of interest in food, we are pretty sure he is still doing just fine on the growth chart.
He has started creeping which looks more like him attempting to do the worm followed by a huge lunge, or face plant into the ground to get a toy. He does it in faster motion if one of Hudson's toys are nearby. He can get his whole body up off the ground for a few seconds but not very long.

He has also started giving kisses which is super cute. You say "awwww" and he opens his mouth to plant a big slobbery kiss. So sweet.

His other new trick is starting to pull up. We had to drop his crib the other day. When we lay him in his crib to sleep he loves to climb over to the rail to peek over the bumper. He thinks it is hilarious when he sees you on the other side.

He is getting tons of new hair! It seems a bit wavy so we are wondering if he will have curls like Hudson did. He may not be as good of an eater than his big brother, but this kid sure loves his sleep more than Hudson did. The other day he fell asleep in the car, stayed asleep when I moved him from car seat to crib. After an hour, he stayed asleep when I moved him back into the car to get Hudson from school, and slept until Hudson got in the car!
