Jack is 21 months

Little Jack is 21 months already! I can't believe he will be 2 in such a short time. He has changed so much in these past few months and is turning into such a little boy. The big news is that he has finally started sleeping through the night at the young age of 20 months:). We had a boot camp for a few days around here where he slept with Daddy and after crying for "mommy" for just a few minutes for a few nights, Daddy got him back to sleep and he finally weaned. He has been sleeping so much better at night and taking 3 hour naps now too which great for everybody. He sleeps with about 10 stuffed animals and blankets that he calls his "guys" which include Mickey Mouses that he calls "Moush", Goofy, Tigger and his elephant that he tucks in just right before bed.

Jack is still a great eater preferring adult food to typical kid food. He loves salads that he calls "lettuce" and recently took a fork to goat cheese and ate half of a tube. He also asks for "tea" at his meals which usually means he sips mine but I might need to make him some decaf!

Another favorite thing though is his big brother. He follows Hudson all day long and wants to do everything he is doing. If he can't find him, he starts calling for him. Luckily big brother loves playing with him too. It is really sweet to watch their bond grow each day. Jack is going to have a big adjustment this week when Hudson starts school!

He is still a cuddly little guy and loves to be rocked and held. He gives huge hugs and holds on tight when he wakes up and when he gets hurt.

He is talking more and more and cracks us up often. He will often ask for Nana, then make a sad face and say "Nana", then will say "work". If you aren't in his sight, then you are at work! If I ask him if he wants to go to the gym, he will do his fake cry as he knows he is going to cry when I drop him off.

He wants to do everything himself and says "I do" until you let him. He is showing an interest of sitting on the potty and does so often but isn't going on there yet, although he can go into my closet after his bath and potty on the carpet pretty well:).

He is such a sweet, funny little guy and we sure are enjoying this age with him!
