Easter fun!

We have had a fun week here of Easter celebrations. The boys loved dying the eggs.

We were so lucky to have Pa from St Louis and my grandmother from Detroit join us for Easter weekend. The boys loved playing with both of them and having them around.

More cards

Hudson was the first one up on Sunday morning and peeked downstairs to see the baskets. He couldn't wait for Jack to wake up and as soon as he did he ran down to bring them upstairs. Hudson was most excited about the Cars 2 UNO cards and kept saying, "that is SO funny the Easter bunny found these cause I have not seen them in any stores!". He clearly thinks he knows all of the Cars 2 merchandise out there! So we played the first UNO game in our bed:).

We are working in transitioning Hudson to his big boy bike without  training wheels. He is still a bit scared of going fast and goes a bit fast  but he will get there.

Sunday afternoon we went over to Nana's. The boys were so excited and couldn't wait for her Easter egg hunt she set up.
Hudson's overflowing basket!

Jack took his time opening each one to see what candy was in there.

Then Nana had some special treats for the boys. They both have these pencil holders they carry around as "wallets" that have broken zippers. So she made them new pouches with a wrist strap. They were a hit! Hudson kept his on through dinner and Jack is napping with his right now. She even made them personalized credit cards, tissue holders and notepads. What a Nana she is!
